How to Play Sudoku

- 2Type a digit or tap the on-screen number pad to place it.
- 3Complete every row, column and 3x3 box using the digits one to nine.
Rules
- Each row must contain the digits one to nine exactly once.
- Each column must contain the digits one to nine exactly once.
- Each 3x3 box must contain the digits one to nine exactly once.
- Given clues are fixed and cannot be changed.
Controls
- Arrow keys move the selection, digits 1–9 enter a value, Backspace clears it.
- Tap a cell then tap a number on the pad when playing on touch.
- Notes mode lets you pencil in several candidates in one cell.
Tips & Strategy
- Scan for rows, columns or boxes that already have eight values filled in.
- Use notes early on hard puzzles so you can spot pairs and triples.
- If a digit only fits one cell in a box, place it even if that cell has other candidates.
