How to Play Mahjong Solitaire
- 1Find two identical tiles that are both free.
- 2Tap the first tile, then the second, to remove the pair.
- 3Clear every tile from the layout to win.
Rules
- A tile is free when it has no tile on top of it and at least one long side is open.
- Only matching tiles can be removed, and only in pairs.
- Blocked tiles cannot be selected until the tiles covering them are gone.
- Use Shuffle if no legal pair remains.
Controls
- Click or tap a tile to select it, then click or tap its match.
- Tap the selected tile again to deselect it.
- Hint highlights one available pair.
Tips & Strategy
- Always clear tiles that unlock several others rather than easy edge pairs.
- Before removing a pair, check whether the other two identical tiles are still reachable.
- Work down from the top layers to open the board.
